Uthai Thani

Uthai Thani is home to the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The wildlife park is full of rich vegetation—forests, jungles, streams—and many rare animals. Uthai Thani draws a considerable number of tourists to the park alone.
Many visitors are also drawn to the local cultural experiences available in the province, particularly the activities along the Sakae Krang River. The river has led to a great amount of growth for Uthai Thani—the province began as a small trade community before flourishing into a major Thai province.
Many local customs and celebrations revolve around the Sakae Krang River, from the tradition of receiving royal visitors by raft to the Buddhist festival of Tak Bat Thewo which takes place at the base of the river, drawing thousands of people every year.
