Phang-nga
The province of Phang-nga covers just over 4,000 square kilometers. It is known for an array of national parks teeming with unique scenery and natural wonders. Most famous is Ao Phang-nga National Park, a geological wonder filled with islets, sunken caverns and startling rock formations rising out of the sea. The park’s sheltered bay is ideal for boating excursions and explorations of many of the underwater caverns which are home to a number of unique eco-systems.
The coast of Phang-nga is home to world-renowned beaches and incredible scuba diving. Divers from all across the world come to explore the fascinating underwater scenery. Nearby, Khao Lak National Park shelters a variety of birds and mammals along with scenic waterfalls.
