Khao Yai National Park

What :

Covering about 800 square miles, Thailand's Khao Yai National Park is a diverse nature preserve home to hundreds of species of animals and plants.

The park's topography contains multiple geological zones including evergreen forests, deciduous forests, and grasslands within the protected boundaries. Tigers, elephants, monkeys, and bears roam this UNESCO World Heritage site along with hundreds of other mammal and bird species.

With pristine waterfalls and endless swaths of forest and jungle to explore, Khao Yai is a hiker's dream come true, but the park also offers plenty of easy trails and other excursions for the less rugged traveler on a luxury tour of Thailand.

When :

The highest temperatures are in March through May, and the rains that fall from June to September offer a welcome respite from the heat for travelers on tours of Thailand.

The high season for the park runs from October through February when travelers can enjoy the best weather.

Where :

Khao Yai National Park sits northeast of Bangkok on the way to Nakhon Ratchasima province. The park is best accessed and navigated using a private vehicle while you're on a luxury tour in Thailand.

Who :

Nature lovers and hikers come from all over the world to enjoy this World Heritage site's untouched grounds, but the destination is particularly popular among birders who gleefully search for the more than 300 bird species that live in the area.

Appropriate Attire :

Dress for a hike and bring along swimwear as you'll likely find the clear pools beneaththe waterfalls too enticing not to take a dip in.

Bruce Goldman -  November 2013

Having a kind aversion toward travel companies, because of my own ability to develop an original itinerary, I was pleasantly surprised at the level of ease and convenience this company provided.

My wife and I decided on a whim to get married and honeymoon in Thailand (since that was her number one destination spot). Not being familiar with that part of the world, and having already run the gamut of a 200 person wedding party, it was in our best interest to hire an experienced company to make our lives just a little bit easier for the honeymoon. Best decision ever.

We reworked the itinerary with the specialist two or three times and probably drove her nuts. Still, they were extremely patient and found us the best deal to suit our needs.

Daily activities planned for us included excursions to important sites such as the Tiger Temple, river boat tours through the canals and authentic spicy thai indulgences (J woop, my favorite!).

So, if you're looking for extra value added to a travelling experience, I would definitely recommend hiring Easy Yours. They know what they're doing.'
