Amnat Charoen
Encompassing just over 3,000 square kilometers, Amnat Charoen is a province in the lower part of the northeast region along the Mekong Rivker. First established over 200 years ago unthe the reign of King Rama III, Amnat Charoen was originally part of Ubon Ratchathani before becoming its own province in the early 1990s. Though small, the province has a number of attractions that draw visitors, including rice paddies, rapids of the Mekong River, fruit plantations, silk, handicrafts, and sacred Buddhist shrines.
Amnat Charoen is comprised of 7 districts: Mueang , Hua Taphan, Phana, Senangkhanikhom, Chanuman, Pathum Ratchawongsa, and Lue Amnat.
